I figured I should probably post my RENT tid-bit, since so many others have already done so. So, here's my notes that, yes, I did take during the film when I wasn't crying my bloody eyes out!
1.) For starters: Some lines are just about ten times funnier when you KNOW people like that! I mean, who amonst us (BRT peeps) cannot see one of us walking into the theater or JWSM and yelling "Merry Christmas, Bitches!"?
2.) I am definatly forming a cult around Roger's hair. Dang, that's so pretty hair!
3.) When Angel first showed up in drag, this CHEER went up from the crowd. It was brilliant, we just started clapping. And when I say we, I mean me (I went alone) and some random dudes in the back. Awesomeness. Side note: Angel is my HOMEGIRL!!!
4.) Anthony Rapp is my soul brother. La Vie Boheme was the high point of my life. I sang along and grinned so big I thought my face would break.
5.) COLLINS!!! ANGEL!!!! SQUUUUEEEE! I'll Cover You...Cutest thing EVER. I was reduced to fan-girl squeals and hand fanning. *dead*
6.) *looks around forlornly* Where's everyone going? (Yes, my friends...people got up, and left in the middle of the film. I was shocked and appalled as well.
7.) *Insert sobbing here. Begin at "Without You". Do Not Stop until the film ends. Nope, not even then. Wait until a bunch of teeny boppers stare at you sitting outside with, yes, a lit candle writing and crying to crack up laughing*
8.) They cut my fave bits! Mark/Roger fight, and Halloween! *Prays for DVD extras*
9.) All in all...the best musical turned movie I have seen....end of sentance.
Now I must figure out how to get all my mates there...hmmm
