ive made a compromise. when me and jeremy had gotten engaged way back when we first went out, i never actually got a ring. i told him that "the day i see a ring, ill believe hes serious, until then, i think we should see other people, cuz im tired of getting hurt, and of empty promises." if he actually manages this, ill break up with the new guy, (i dont love the new guy) and take jeremy back. until then...i dont believe hell actually do it.
