What is the flavour of spiced rum?
It can't be sweeter than this
You're the one who won't tear my heart out
You're the one who gives me bliss

Wake up, do you smell the coffee?
I can't believe its only noon
Roll back over and hold me
We'll go back to sleep this afternoon

I know I love you
The taste is sweeter than spiced rum
But unlike rum you're not something
i can abstain from
You're the most sacchariferous drug

And today is a sugar rush,
With berry gum,
And bright red blush,
I want to remember us this way.

Staying up and sleeping late,
We’re confused,
Don’t remember the date,
But who needs that when you got friends like these?

We’re all we need,
Like high flying birds,
If they were doped on weed,
We’re immortal in our words.

Nothing, not the rush of rum,
Not all the stars in the sky,
Can compare to what we’ve become.
We didn’t even try.
