'Hello-Hello N e w F a c e s'
I take subtle walks in un-tested,
open fields of life.
I take the time to try,
and understand.
If one feels pain.
then another after him-
Emotion is simply planned.
What does man have to gain?
Once in your life,
does the belief seem to come?
And the right to know.
If all was to come and leave-
Emotion is to succumb.
What will I receive?
Pondering wonder.
Immortal pain, for a mortal thought.
If only for a phone call.
As I hover over long gone moments,
To cry over the fight I fought,
In the old and new and what it represents.
If I have lost you.
I would only want you to know.
I hung on to you as long as I could.
And with our last friendship breath-
We begin to let go.
As I lead myself in emotional death.
