Last wish

I am a butterfly
I don’t stay long
For I used all but one wish
I ceased his jaw line
With a simple stroke of my hand

I spread my wings
I saw his pain
It welled inside of him
Slowly eating away his life

Would I do this?
Give my last wish for someone
I don’t even love
I saw the live of him leaving

The pain he was in
The things he has suffered
He lay in this white room
Suffering but not for long

I was his wish to live
But I don’t even love him
I was a wish wasn’t I
A fable a myth

I am a butterfly
I don’t stay long
For I use my last wish
For someone today who’s in pain?

I will fade if I use this wish
But I known that
It would hurt him more
To wake to only be alone

But I will be reborn
Given 6 more wishes
Never to know him again

The sun shone threw my wings
Like an angle
As I used my last wish
To spare this boys live
Slowly I looked around
Then at my wings
And slowly I faded

“I love you”
I whispered my last breath
Before I disappeared
I am a butterfly
I don’t stay long
At all
