Aaaaanyhow, since I was done with that, I took the liberty of opening a Photobucket account and using it to host images so I could start an avi art shop of my own! It is called The Crop Shop, and I spent about, oh... 3.5 hours making it and all logos and the Photobucket account associated with it. Took a bit longer than I expected, but it's not like there was much pressing going on.
I thought it turned out pretty good, all things considered. The design work could have been better, but my work on the newspaper proves that while passable, my design skills and graphics work aren't anything to write ballads about. Plus, I've been thinking about an ordering system a lot recently, and once I wrote it down and looked it over, decided I really liked it. It's a bit unconventional, but I think it'll work for me. Who knows? I could start a trend (or not).
It hasn't been moved to the right forum yet, but when it has been, I'll open shop. The link is in my signature with a temp banner. See you all there!
ON ANOTHER NOTE, I saw Maya Lizette guest artist-ing in an art thread a little less than a week ago, selling her awesome chibis for 5k each. Obviously, I hunted her down and PMed her a commissioned her on the spot, as any sane avi-art loving Gaian would do.
Here's what I got. Frankly, I'm really impressed at the quality and cuteness! ^_^
