Around the fire
we dance and laugh
moving to the beats
that free our souls.
Watch the shadows
move with us.
Watch them skip
in cirlces.
That roaring fire
burning bright
keeps growing and growing,
and shows no sigh of stopping.
That hypnotic light
pulls us under
to a seperate world
with pasts forgotten.
But unconciensly
we all know
that fire destroys,
it does not create.
But drunken by the sights and sounds,
we keep dancing in our circles,
being burned by the embers,
without a care in the world.
