It's really funny how God works. He really is intersting, i'll tell you that. Today was another stressfull day where i wake up, go to piano, then debate, then speech, then Japanese, then walk home((about 5 miles)) from the school i take the Japanese from. And i'm just packed with school. I have a speech tournament this saturday, and from being over stressed and everything, i havn't worked on anything for it. Nothing at all, so i had no speech. On my way home, i was about 2 miles from my house, i saw a small rainbow. Just a really small one. And i though, "Wow, God, this must be a sign. A sign that even through the hellish of times, there's always the smallest of hope left." And i thought about Noah, since the rainbow derived from that story, and how he just had that little bit of hope to live on. So, i continued walking, still worrying how my mom and dad were going to rip my head off when i got home about the zero progress in my speech. But when i got home, my mom brought me in the garage((it's set up as our school room, since i'm homeschooled along with four other siblings)) and she told me that she was talking to my speech teacher, ((Oh, no! Right?)) and i just waited for it. She told me that she was discussing stuff over with my teacher and they both had come to an agreement that i really did have quite a bit on my plate and that i could drop speech. I was so happy, and then i remembered the rainbow. And there it was, that small glimpse of hope that things will settle down a bit. It was so sudden and funny, that i just started smiling for the next half an hour. It was awesome.
