I don't believe that God is responcible for death. I believe that Satan is the one who brought about death to mankind with his deception of Eve, and in turn Adam followed her into the sin. Since we're all born from Adam and Eve we all inherited their imperfection; we grow old and die.
I have heard that Adam and Eve had eternal life in the garden of Eden. However, I was under the impression that the implication was that they also could not procreate.
Death is necessary for life; if nothing died, there would be no food, and the world would be overpopulated. If life comes from God, death must also. Besides, is not a joy to leave this world and join God in heaven?
It wasn't Satan who deceived Eve, it was a serpent. And to be frank, what he told her was the absolute truth. So he didn't so much deceive her as talk her into doing something YHWH didn't want her to do.

Sex is not a sin. Genesis 1: 28...Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” When they were told this they were still in the garden. So if sex were a sin then god would not have told them to be fruitful and become many.
The bible doesn't say when Adam and Eve first had sex. It just says that Adam had relations with his wife: Genesis 4: 1... Now Adam had intercourse with Eve his wife and she became pregnant. In time she gave birth to Cain and said: “I have produced a man with the aid of Jehovah.” Alot of times we have sex without becoming pregnant.
Serpents (snakes) don't talk, and the only adversary God has is Satan.
Scientists have a "good idea" as to what ages us, but nothing certain.
Is giving free will a design flaw? If your a parent and you tell your child not to do something and after repeated warnings he or she goes ahead and does it, is that your fault?
