America is sweet. America is kind.
America is full of lies. I love this
country more than you know. As I'm sure
do you all. We are plagued with war
and violence. With death, mutilation, and
destruction. Our country still stands strong,
like the waves of a crashing sea.
Our songs ring out to nations far and wide.
As they finally hear our cry.
This sweet land of freedom fit.
Our lands of jealousy that sit.
Our hatred for eachother...
The bitterness of man kind...
This is the hope we find.
Smile o' America.
Smile for your shining grace.
Show us we still live on.
Show us how to mend our broken hearts.
We love all. We lost most.
Many now find it a joke.
With September 11th in tact.
The memory of those lost was
whittled down to none. Remember
America. Remember those we lost.
Show us what true Americans are like.
For this is a fight we have not yet lost.
