One step forward then two steps back, feel her eyes gaze upon you as you run and try to escape. She saw your evil deeds and they can never be hiding from her well carved marble eyes. The blessed Virgin stares down at the pitiful souls crying for help but doesn't say a word. Never run, things will get worse, hiding is only delaying the inevitable once a stone has been made into a statue the eyes will see everything that happens day in and day out, never speaking just looking. Feel the guilty look, one step forward two steps back then two steps forward and one step back.
