Light as a feather;
with the heart of a bird.
Look into the sky
that is where I reside,
in your heart with your smile that should never die.
Everytime you cry...
I wipe the tears from your eyes and smile.
Hoping you will smile back at me
because you are a part of me and I will always help you.
Seeing you so still-
is so unreal...
like frozen water...
on a spinning wheel.
You are a free spirit,
a river of happiness,
and to see you frozen makes me feel lost--
in that beautiful sky.
Your thoughts, emotions, and movement are important to me
because they helped me and others grow.
I wrote this for my friend Sam who was going through a tough time. She had just lost a friend because of a car crash last year, so I took the time to write a poem like her friend was speaking to her through me. She really liked it and I'm glad her friends spirit helped me write it. 3nodding
