Fantastic night last night. My mum took Sarah, Gwen and Hilary to the mall. We went hot guy scouting, shopping, tried on clothes but didn't buy anything, and hung around in the newborn section of JC Penny and pretended that I was pregnant and they were picking out clothes for my baby. I had to stick my stomache out the whole time, which gave a bit of a cramp, but it was totally worth it for the dirty looks people were giving us...The sales lady totally beleived us, too. xd
After that, we (for lack of anything better to do) went to the school's harvest festival. We were the only 8th graders there besides Nic Moores and Kelsey Paradise, so we had to decorate our grade's pumpkin. It was an emo-pumpkin, complete with emo glasses and his hair in his eyes. We even won first place and a free dress day for our grade! Woot!
There was also a face painting person there, and Hilary and I went back for so many fake tattoos that the woman learned our names. I got a rose on the back of my neck, a fairy on my cheek, a lip print on my other cheek, a lizard on my arm, a tiger on my collarbone, and a dragon on my lower back. Eventually, we got bored with that, so we went and sulked in the girls bathroom, whereupon we discovered that one of the ceiling thingys were loose, so we all (naturally) stood on the toilet and climbed up into the ceiling of the girls bathroom. It was quite exciting and fun crawling up around there, but you had to be super careful to only step on the metal parts because otherwise you would loosen the other ceiling thingys.
After that, we went and totally pwned the cakewalk..we won like 7 cakes, and ate them all in the hallway. (Euughh...I still feel sick.)
We helped with the cleanup afterwards, and Mrs. Klewin gave us the keys and said we could go return some tape and stuff to the upstairs classrooms.
It was almost scary walking down the dark hall on the 3rd floor. (We couldn't find the lightswitch) Did you know that between Mr. T's classroom and Mrs. Castellano's classroom, it is totally pitch black? We had a lot of fun running around peeking into classrooms, and Gwen, being Gwen, managed to lock herself in a couple times, but all in all, we survived unscathed.
We walked home to Gwen's house in the rain, and we got to keep a bunch of balloons as well. Ah yes, the joys of friendship.. blaugh
