I. Lonely Space
I look up into the starry sky,
As I stare I wonder,
What would it like to live out there?
To be free from Earth’s problems?
To escape all the hatred,
To escape all the unkind people,
But to also leave behind,
All love,
All those who care about you,
All those who give you hope,
Then I think,
I have no love,
No one cares about me,
I have no hope,
So what would I leave behind?
I’d be all alone in space,
But I’m already alone.
