So...I've decided to start a journal. I suppose I chose to use Gaia because

1. I know I'll be on every day
2. I have no friends on here who I know in real life (that I know of anyway... eek ) so it wouldn't be too embarrassing if I let out a strange secret
3. It feels good that I'm not actually bottling up my feelings and thoughts (it's open to the public, isn't it?)

Anyways. It probably isn't the best of ideas to start this journal right during exam review week...my mind will highly likely be here rather than on the textbook pages. Oh well; I'm sure I'll pull through some how.

It's not easy being 16, I've come to realize. I've also come to realize that it's not easy living in general. This is the first time in the school year that I was home before six o'clock - first time that I didn't have some form of musical ensemble or sports team practice after school. Ironically, it's during the week before the exams. rofl Ironically still, I'm spending this time NOT studying. It's not easy being 16; but really, I make it more difficult for myself (my parents say that all the time. They apparently get the last laugh). Sucks. Balls.

I'll go study for a bit now...maybe come back later.
