The time at the park was the best ever. First, lets start off with me. =3. I threw on a pair of pinstripe suspenders to go over the white shirt I had initially planned to wear because it's one of the few shirts that is actually baggy around my torso. Per Cookie's advice, I took along my cane, but decided I needed something else besides my normal hat. So, on went a bowler hat xD. Thus dressed, I went out to Griffith park to go learn from some poor dog owner the intricacies of playing frisbee. The first owner my eyes landed upon, was a very large and grumpy man who told me to, basically, "******** off". His dog was tied to the bench a couple of feet away from him, so I took the liberty of unclipping the animal and walking away whistling while the guy sat there for a few seconds, I suppose deciding whether to pummel me, or get his dog which was bolting away. Luckily, he chose the dog. =D. Moving on, I spotted a nice old lady with a dog... and a frisbee. So I took a gentleman's stance, asked for her hand and we were a teaching pair from that moment onward. I think I got to play frisbee with her more than her dog did. She was a good player too.. at least at throwing. That woman had me running all over the bloody place while she just laughed up the storm at the odd ways I would try to catch the plastic disc.
After two hours of that, the lady had to head home, but she let me keep the frisbee so I was throwing it and chasing after it for awhile all over the place.
Then, what caught me artwhore eyes but a portrait stand. The girl doing it looked about my age, and was dressed up in an obviously 'french' clothing. Which was amusing because she has an irish accent and red hair. Typically she has people pay her for the drawings, but after she finished mine, she decided to keep the one she did of me for an example. I, of course, having sit still for it, demanded that she pay me back. So we closed up her stand and she spent the rest of the day at the park with me. My wallet is lighter due to the numerous silly trinkets I bought her, as well as the food, and tons of icecream. We talked, or just walked around, and she even managed to play frisbee with me, though she definately needs some practice with it. So after that fantastic day, we have a lunch date that I must now scurry off to.
Wish me luck, eh?
