Well I was digging through my pictures and I thought of a certain picture that drew and dinsictly remembered liking so much I coloured it. So I was digging through all my sketch pads, not really certain which one it was in.
I found it and it was just as beautiful as I remembered it. It's very clique, an angel and a deamon picture. However they gave me some inspiration.
I drew some pictures of an angel and deamon that because of an old tradition are forced to work together. They both assume humaniod forms whilst they stay on Rivina. However the picture was cool enough that I named them and gave them a background story.
Wich led to me creating more characters to play with them and led to me trying to think of a plot.
So far all I got is that some how they got stuck on Rivina because something or other is keeping them there. Sound special yet? Well.... I'mma work on it more and see what happens. That is if it doesn't kindda just sink to the bottom of the idea basket.
That's kindda where I dug it up from.
There's another story I really wanna work on but I'm having troubles with it. Cuz the characters a pretty complex and I want to skirt around certain things and I don't have very good time fillers. I have a nice enough start but I still ended up at the same place. If I just get over my self I could pick up where I left off but it's kindda like another part in the story that every time I read it I kick myself.
It's not well constructed and in fact it's so bad that I keep fergeting about it until I reread it. I think I'll just have to highlight it or something so I can find it when I'm in the mood to fix that garbage.
I mean I have a little comic made up about it. It will sound in order and everything but it's not. I have the end wedged up in the front, then the middle then more of the begining... However it's stuff that isn't really spoken, at least not all of it. Sadly I've fergotten parts of it... (Like when I was making my worldless story...) So it's off. By just a little because I know how my characters interact and this was within the realm of possiblity (Good Book).
However I'm really contemplating one story in praticular that isn't really of story status. I created a vast amount of characters for something. I've written up histories and am working on their relationships with each other. However I managed to squeak in a character from a little story that I assigned 4 characters too and supplied a very vague and limitless plot.
This rather rambunctious (SP) elf who calls himself Zesty pretty much kidnaps 3 other people that unfortunately bump into him at a train station. He in his vast and unlimited knownledge of them assigns them nick names also.
There's a Lorian of the higher caliber who like most Lorians wears all black and has a rather dowour additude. He was called Sunshine.
Then there's a rather sweet girl whom not matter what could always be found munching on a carmel candy bar. Can you guess her name? It's Rachel. Just kidding, it's Caramel.
Then they little run over a rather pissy teen who is quite presumputious and cynical in nature. Zesty liked to poke fun at him. He nicknamed him Jerk-face and called him Jf for short, sounds like Jeff but with a very short, silent e.
The quartet travel around on the train, imposing on people as they go. Zesty charms people really easily and they let him and his friends stay a night or two or twelve. But anyways, they're basically outlaws that haven't really broken any laws.
The relationchips there are pretty entertaining cuz Zesty pretty well gets on everybodies nerves.
Jf is the easiest to pester and Caramel is the hardest cuz she likes the entertainment.
However when Zesty gets on Sunshine's nerves they usually end up in a deadlock fight. Cuz Zesty has some lanent powers over people's minds. He's called and an Erotist because of the branch of elves that have the ability to reach into people's minds and project their greatest fears or fanatasies and even a few mediocer ones.
So Zesty will have Sunshine fighting nothing whilst he tries to calm him down. It usually ends when Sunshine's finds the real Zesty and KOs him.
Anyways Zesty and the three go their own sepereate ways and he resumes his normal life as Bushoi Maltrix, a Rivinian half Magi/ Elf hybrid. He serves aboard the space vessel Rapscallion (Is that not an awesome name, horray fer theasuarses! (SP)). However before he left he contracted a mythicnoid disease that is slowly killing him.
Which brings us full cirlce. The Rapscallion is piloted by Captain Bia Odël. When ever the Empire or anyone questions the name of her vessel she swears that the Rap part was added as a joke. Though they find that any one piloting a ship called the Onion is rather unlikely.
FYI Rapscallion means rogue or thief. It's a fun word to through around, like lackadysmical. It's a real conversation stopper. -nods enthusiastically-
And you see, I'm an avid Trekker so I like all these space things and have invented more races than I really shouldda... But unfortuatelly I'm pretty well into the humanoid types so not much variations here. Eoaians are the least human being cat people... The Imani aren't really really human eaither... They have feathers (two) that stick out of the top of their heads and big teeth and are very mean... Don't make it mad, it eat you in two bites if it's feeling nice. Eat you slowly and keep you alive for days half eaten if not feeling very nice.
However!!! Keeping on track, I have a ton of characters, 3 1/2 pages with two to three line Bios for every one. However a smaller part of them belong to the Seraph (Another fun word to throw around.). They come into play later.
But I have all these character and I cannot think of a decent plot. I don't really want any galactic globe trotters and fighting the Empire is a little tough with only one ship. So I was thinking that maybe I cut back on the staff and such but then Smickens would be outta job. His job is to die. So I was thinking maybe they'd be kindda like the guerillas of space, going after outposts and such, trying to weaken the Empire from the fringes whilst the VESTA gets them from the inside.
So, I have a lot about them, just not much to do with them. I mean I like having them free booting around in my mind cuz the crew is hillarious. I preticularly dislike the second in command Kinomaru and praticularly love scientist Imani Vulcant. They get along as well as two prepubesent girls fawning over the same boy.
His son however is kindda the mediator between them. Though Imani has a lotta misdirected hatred. In his cultural it's forbiden to bond ( akin to marriage) once but his family demands that he take Ipa as his new bondmate. He doesn't hate her but he sees her as a sister since his mind isn't able to accept her as a bondmate. He also lost his previous bondmate to the Empire since they love getting their hands on Solinarious. The RALIX league (They're not an organization) was too late to save his bondmat Iza but not too late to save him and his son. Imani is almost twice Ipa's age, which was another thing that made him made. If he were to die before their bond was dissolved he would end up draggind a very young and healthy woman to death with him. So he basically hates every one in general. He likes a few people and can sometimes have an enjoyable time but most times he's too bitter about the past to really open up and relax a bit.
He even got hauled off to a station holding pin becuase the RALIX said they wanted nothing to do with him and he grinned and attacked Kinomaru like he was 22 again.
Wow... Oops... Didn't really mean to babble on about Imani even though I like his character.
Smickens also entertains me. I like his name, it just sounds disposable. "Hand me a Smickens, I got some muck on my shoe..." "Aw man, we're outta Smickens again!" "Hmm... That job will take three or four Smickens..." See just a very disposable name, just like Kleenex.
But yeah, I could retell every persons story but I won't. I took me 7 pages to do it word so i can't imagine somebody reading through seven pages of nothingness.
Though I do have to add that Bushoi isn't the Rivinian elf and the other also has contracted a mythicnoid disease.
