How great it is
to spread my wings and fly
into the glowing sapphire sky
to take off and watch
all the things that held me back
fade into a little speck of gray
to feel all those burdens
fall from me, so I can be
as light as a feather.
And now I am a bird
soaring high above my worries
and just letting go.
