Larla stepped into Atheran's cozy home, and scolded her mind for wandering to Luke.
"Larla...my dear! How are you today?"
"Just fine, thanks, Atheran."
"Would you like a cup of coffee?"
"Yeah."
They sat down on the couch with mugs of coffee. They watced a soap opera, All My Secrets. They cuddled together. Larla inhailed Atheran's sweet aftershave. She told herself she was perfectly content, but something was not right.
