it was supposed to rain tonight, after a week of rains and flooding.
but the rain stopped, the skies cleared, and a nrealy full moon shone bright silver through the trees.
so we walked in bear country on a dirt road in the mountains and watched the silver blue light fill all the forest.
in the hills and valleys we could see torrents of braided white water crashing down.
everything shone, blue, purple, grey, even pink, as if lit from within.
it was like magic.
