it's such a cruel word
as soon as you find it
as soon as you're happy
something comes along
and smashes your little fairytale
to pieces
love-
i wish the whole concept
would just shrivel up
wilt like a flower
is there any point
to love again
after i've lost so much?
after my heart's been broken
shredded
into tiny pieces
and every time
i start to repair it
and open for someone to fix
they just pull out the stitches
that i've already started
and makes me wonder
love-
is it worth the heartbreak?
