This month's wonderfully fantastic anime series is
whee Hakushaku to Yousei! whee
Or Earl and Fairy.
Okay so this anime is based on the novel series by
Mizue Tani.
This series surrounds the wonderfulness that is fantasy.
Specifically in the
duh
fairy area.
The story is about a young girl named Lydia Carlton,
who lives in 19th century England.
Sure it sounds like a boring story but hey it's her job
that makes this story unique.
4laugh Lydia is a fairy doctor 4laugh
or just a super expert on different types of fairies
and she can see them.

Okay, so moving on. xd
Lydia recieves a letter from her father to return home however,
one thing leads into the next and she meets the ever
dashing gentleman Edgar J.C. Ashenbert. heart
He kidnaps her in hopes that her abilities as a fairy doctor
will help him obtain the legenday Sword of Merrow
and thus making him the Blue Knight Earl.
Of couse he is not all that he appears.
He is an individual with a dark past
and poor Lydia is now caught in his present.
Lydia and Edgar along with his fae sprite blooded servant Raven and
Lydia's fairy feline gentleman friend, Nico,
their journey begins through love, hate, suspision, drama,
suspense, mystery, fantasy, blah, blah, blah...
Of course along the way, they meet more
interesting characters like the ever determined Kelpie, the aquatic horse.

Okay, so there is the overall rundown of the
series but don't worry the whole quest for
the Sword of Merrow isn't as long as they make it sound.
In fact most of the series takes place after the quest.
I love the characters but Lydia's personality towards
Edgar some sometimes
stare bugs me. stare
I don't know but,
I really do hope that they do get together. whee
I just happened to stubble on this series by
chance and now I'm hooked to it. blaugh
It's just one of those series that makes
me ask for more.
