I dunno I thought of this when I was in the car... tell me what you think.

My body is shaking slightly and my eyes are shut, but that's because the car is on a bumpy road and I'm tired. Don't worry, I'm not driving.

Suddenly me body jerks forward and my mother emits a suprised sound. My eyes have shot open just in time to see and feel a cop car practically break the sound barrier as it passed us. The car rocks and my mom nervously gets on the road again after a few seconds.

I ask concerned, "What could have possibly been that important?"

Mom shakes her head, "I don't know sweetie..."

I cross my arms and sink back into the seat. I am satisfied with our lack of knowledge and close my eyes again

We'll be home soon anyways

The prickling sensation starts on my neck and I itch at it. I turn to my accomplice and he raises a finger. He looks outside, pressing the finger to my lips. I move away and then hear them.

I grab my jacket and toss a match onto the mattress. My accomplice bids me farewell with a small nod and disappears. I will never see him again.I step outside and see them stalking towards, me. I panic and run straight into them. They grab and bite at me but I escape into the swamp, completely untraceable. It was a miracle, I was preparing for death.

My thoughts were emptied and quickly forgotten when the prickling sensation started up again. I know they are hunting me but I need a refuge.
