I love Christmas carols. Just a cappella and simple and traditional is the way I like them best...though I did hear a pretty awesome rock version of the Twelve Days of Christmas the other day...

Lol but that's about it. I really hate modern twists, or the more secular Christmas songs. But I love the traditional carols like First Noel, What Child Is This?, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, etc.

I just love singing them...and the harmony parts are even more fun.

So tonight as usual the school choirs are performing a bunch of carols in front of the funeral home while everyone walks around enjoying the extra Christmas festivities. :3 My favorites that we sing are First Noel, Joy to the World, and Carol of the Bells...and having always sung alto for carols, I get the fun harmony parts. ^^

Then the Senior Choir is singing the Hallelujah Chorus! We practiced it today and it actually went really well! Plus I memorized almost all of it, except like one line...but we can use our music so it's good. biggrin

Then in between singing I'm going to hang out with a few friends who will be there. ^^

I'm very excited. 3nodding
