So i got stood up by a guy the other week.
he actually had the nerve to send three of his friends on me to back me into a corner into feeling sorry for him.
w.t.f.
here's how this all went down:
Halloween day i dressed up in my Zexion cosplay being all excited like to the fact that me and my friends were going to have a party that night and go out trick-or-treating for maybe the last year because most of us can possibly pass off for teenagers still, even being in college. Least to say I stood out from the crowd sitting down in Jasmine's cafe downstairs in the student center wearing a silver emo-haired styled wig and a coat that might have made me look like I came out a dominatrix movie, but that aside-
A guy came sheepishly waltzing up to me saying that I looked beautiful and that he saw that I was on Gaia. *headdesk* I mean sure, me being a nerd and and being on Gaia surely defines someone at point blank, but the I was in a total state of shock that this guy had to come up to me saying that "my friend said that if I didn't come up and talk to you, I'm going to have to take him out to chipotle."
what an a**. maybe not the guy himself, but his actual friend who had the nerve to set up his best friend with someone he knows NOTHING about (IE: me.)
I humored him though, giving him a hug, and exchanged gaia user names. least to say i didn't hear back from him until he had to send a note to me through a random by stander because he didn't have the courage enough to ask me himself if my real hair color wasn't silver. he made plans with me to take me to lunch though that friday. I held my tongue and descided to give him a chance, at least on a friend level, even though he was totally going about it like he wanted to date me xP
friday nov. 14th was the day that this guy, Charles was supposed to take to lunch before I had class that day. I came to the student center two hours before 12, and waited about until me friend Ashley showed up. the time he said he was going to show rolled about, and I sat there waiting. and waiting. I checked gaia to see if he pmed me about canceling but nothing ever came in.
nothing. nada. I was stood up, and Ashley and I ran off going to class, with me being pissed off and further frustrated from listening to the continual bickering of my family from home still going off in my mind.
two days ago, he came up to apologize, though it was plain enough that i had the words "******** Off" stuck to my brow. Being in college you think that people would have at least the decency to send you a word that you had to cancel if something actually "important" came up, but no, i stood about for two and a half hours twiddling my thumbs and feeling like a complete and utter fool. i had no tolerance to deal with this kid, and i told him that i was angry and he sulked away with his tail between his legs.
yesterday though, the friend in question who apparently charels was going to owe chipotle too came waltzing up to our table with two of his cronies at his side. he asked us if we knew where Nora was, and I put two and two together rather quickly. Three complete total strangers asking for someone they had never met before. yeah. True enough they were from charles.
I rolled my eyes and said No, not wanting the drama. After a second though, buzz, kyle and ashley started looking at me strangely before his three friends also did their math.
So his BFF with sea-foam green hair started to explain "that charles was being an idiot." The two other just sstood there, staring at me like I was some sort of b***h for turning their friend down to, WHEN I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN STOOD UP.
The only idiot I saw was standing right in front of me. I wanted to so badly go off on this guy, but instead I could only give them a glare and say "I don't want to go into this."
which was the truth. I didn't want to go into this sort of childish idiotic drama. I'm going to go to college for an education that I can barely afford, not for the same BS asinine high school drama that I had to try to avoid at every turn for the last four years of my life.
I suppose some idiots never grow up though.
so they went packing back the to the ratskeller, and i had to sit there and explain what the heck had just happened to kyle and buzz who had no idea what had just happened.
If they show up again though, I'm not afraid to make them walk away again, only this time in tears.
