The Brutes, savage as they were, jumped behind Eike and Julia who had fallen into the pit below.
Eike had, upon reaching Julia, held her. Grasping the rope and slashing it with his arm. Thus her arm no longer trapped, let her fall, Eike holding her close to him. Julia closed her eyes as tears of happiness sprung from her eyes. She held him tightly, never wanting to let go.
The bottom of the pit was near.
Finally, in the frozen chamber, a burst of bright blue light emerged.
The Brutes fell, smashed themselves against the rocks below, blood splashed all over the bottom.
Hence, Julia and Eike disappeared.
