There comes a time when one must admit to oneself that one has problems. Ah, yes, the psycho ward. I've often heard about patients there who complain about voices in their heads. But, are they really mad? Truth be told, we've all got voices in our heads. So, are the true mad ones the ones that admit to themselves about the voices, or the ones who do not?

As we travel about this world, we run into many circumstances. Life is not an orange juice commercial, as the orange flavor of Vitamin Water says. All of which boils down to one simple statement: Weird is normal, and normal is weird. One can assume that the orange juice commercial would appear normal, but, in reality, when it is observed, it is rather abnormal, and therefore, weird.

I've come across some abnormalities in this yet-to-be useful life, all of which I have been able to wisely accept through that simple statement. All the more reason why I say the quiet people often prove to be the most interesting. (Quote - "Knowledge speaks, Wisdom listens." wink

As of yet, I have just made a visit to a hospital to visit a friend. When I had approached the large building, a series of memories flooded my mind. Memories of remorse, of happiness, of confusion, and worst of all, death. I became very down the moment I had seen the hospital; almost as if there were some sort of strange omniprescence [sp?] about the building in which so many memories lie and wait to be reawakened. Pain shot through me, and the after-effects lingered for a while, right over my heart. (Really not a pleasant experience, I can assure you.) One of these days I'm going to get that checked... along with the rest of my mental well-being. *Shrugs*

I'm afraid I'm a wee short of a sense of humor this chilly evening... so I must bid all adieu, as I head off to... crash and burn. sweatdrop
