I got pulled over by a cop for the first time today.

What happened was my dad had just filled up the car will gas and we were on our way home, and I stopped at a stop sign and asked my Dad which way I should go since the road we would normally go on looked backed up. He told me to go ahead and go onto that road and so I did, and I did not see the car coming my way, and so I cut them off, and a cop was behind me, so when I got up to the end of the line at that road I saw the cop car's lights were on and knew I screwed up. he told me to go into the parking lot that was right there and so he followed me there and was busy talking on the phone to what I assume was the police station. After a minute or two he finally got out and I gave him my license and registration, he asked my age to confirm that my license is mine, and asked me why he pulled me over. I told him that it was because I pulled out in front of that other car, and he told me to be more careful next time, and then he went on his way. So luckily I didn't get a ticket or a stern talking to, but I was still shaken up, and to make things worse, I ended up passing the cop on my way out of the gas station connected to the parking lot, and then a minute later had to sit next to them at a red light.

So I'm glad that I finally got my first pullover done with and that it wasn't worse than it could've been, hopefully there won't be a next time.
