I like him, perhaps,
Like a little girly crush.
But he's really more of a chap,
And I'm not in any rush.
He's a ray of sparkling sunlight,
He shines light on every day.
But perhaps I enjoyed the darkness,
Cause it's just more soothing without the rays.
I love you, but I really don't know
If you're really who you are.
Are you just putting up a bold front,
Or are you really a glistening star?
The butterflies are just so awkward,
The doves just drive me insane.
But yet, if you're really my romeo,
then maybe it's worth the pain.
At the same time, if you're a one week fling,
Of if this would end at all,
Then it would tear my darkening heart,
And it would crush me against the wall.
The love, it kills me so.
I wish it all away.
But perhaps, if you were to intertwine with me,
I could make it through the day.
