Well, okay, as a person, I'm sure that he's fine. I would invite him to dinner. I do, however, have a problem with his campaign, politics, and ideals.
1. His campaign
A. Is illegal
a. He is not a natural born U. S. citizen. He was born in Indonesia. This is why he won't turn over his certificate of live birth.
b. He is a Muslim. NO HE IS NOT CATHOLIC. His mother is an Athiest, his father and grandmother are Muslim. You have to be to attend schools in Indonesia. It is because of them that we are in the war that we are right now. Islam is one of the more violent religions.
c. He will not tell who funded his campaign. If a party donates more than $200.00 to a campaign, you HAVE to cite them. Suspicious, no?
2. His politics
A. Okay, he wants to change our national anthem to "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing." What is he, some sort of 70's icon?
B. Um, okay, he TURNED his BACK on America's flag. What does that tell you about his love of the country? He won't even salute the flag
C. He is inexperienced. He's too young.
D. He's too liberal. He is so close to being a socialist that it's scary. Can you say "Soviet America"?
E. Um, half the s**t he says he can't do. Like, lowering our taxes. WTF you CAN'T! We are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt. The money has to come from somewhere.
F. He wants to pull the troops out of Iraq. Um, HALL NO. Look, we got into this s**t, we need to get out with grace and dignity. We are the world's superpower. We need to be an example. We blow up the whole country. We need to clean up our mess and put peace troops in. That way, when we DO leave, they won't hate us anymore.
G. He wants to have cookies and milk with the leader that wants to blow us up. I'm sorry, but people that want to destroy a country for no GOOD reason are sick in the head. Sharing your Snickerdoodles won't change s**t. We need to invade, use force, and overturn the leader.
His ideals:
A. He is pro-choice. I'm sorry, but personhood isn't acquired; you are a person the minute that conception happens. You have a soul the MINUTE that conception happens.
B. Remember what I said about the whole being a Muslim? Well, this country is based on Christianity. I don't want him trying to change the constitution.
