There was a strange boy,
Who didn't like your conventional toy
He was alone,
always alone

He liked to dream,
about playing at the stream.

He was happy alone,
always alone.

He'd chase a river,
not slowing a sliver

He was better alone,
always alone.

He then wanted to go,
to see the the ocean flow.

He thought about being alone,
always alone.

When he saw the ocean,
he felt an odd emotion

He felt alone,
always alone
