Good morning everyone. Tomorrow it will be one month since I last updated my journal, but not anymore! Now I'm updating, not with anything really important but still an update.
To begin with, I recently participated in a boycott (or as Wolfie called it, "girlcott," silly goose) that I don't even know if anyone else really did it but darn did it feel good. No yelling at a website all day. Virtually stress free :D
So this boycott. I don't know if anyone ever pays attention to the "Users Online" thing but I do, since I'm a geek like that (I love numbers yet hate math, how weird is that?). Usually the numbers, if they are accurate in the least, say 80,000 to 90,000 as the highest and 70,000 as the lowest (on school nights the number dips to about 17,000). For two days I didn't sign on to any one of the twenty (though I barely remember all the passwords) accounts I have, but curiosity got the better of me and I checked the main page--NOT LOGGED ON, THANK YOU--every couple of hours. Never got passed 80,000. What does that tell you? That's a lot of people. And this was over the weekend, when Gaia's usually in the 90s. That's definitely a lot of people.
If I see this "What Twilight character are you?" thing one more time I'm going to lose it. Why does Gaia have to get their grubby little hands on everything? Their like MTV or Disney now! They spread their disease everywhere! Because we all know what the quizzes mean--they got a "Quest." Sigh. I remember when we were promised the quest system, how it would be good and amazing and we could get "back wings." What happened to that Gaia? Huh? HUH?! They take their ideas and turn them into awful perversions.
Anyway. I hate the people in my head. It's been a week and they have yet to shut up but their still being shallow and ugh. Who am I talking about? Alicia and the Treskelvay's, of course. I knew they would start up. It's become a pattern, anymore. I can actually predict when they'll start flapping their gums because I'll have one page in my notebook that says, "I can't write anything" followed by twenty pages, front and back, having to deal with the Treskelvay's. That, and, my Polson research has gone back up again. I finally realized what was wrong with the address (I'm still very tempted to email the high school, they have every single email on that site) and found the correct roads and buildings. The only thing I don't know is the white building in front of the football field. I have no idea what it is. I can't find anything on it. And yes, Google Maps and Google Earth have been my very dearest friends recently. I just hate, I mean I love it but hate it for research reasons, that Polson is such a small town because that means there's barely information or pictures to go on. I still have yet to get a good picture of the school. The best I have is this and that's nothing! Dx
Plus, my natural lack of high school information makes for all the more frustration. At least I have one friend who can give me a rundown of how a high school works. Because I honestly have no idea and have no want to figure out on my own. The only way you can get me into a public school is in a body bag, but no one wants a dead body in a school. They'll think it's offensive or something... oh well.
