As the moon rises,
the thoughts enter my head.
Thoughts so dark,
that they engulf the light.
Wishing never brought back,
what i so longed for.

My yearning for her,
heart in heart, hand in hand,
never ceases to haunt me.
The thought of a child,
and mother,
keep tearing at my soul.

Please, my child,
do not cry.
Please, my love,
do not mourn.
I shall come,
I shall come.
Wait for me,
at death's door.
