You can't seem to remember me.
No matter how much you think,
my face doesn't land in your memory.
But I have not slept a single night,
when you're face doesn't appear in me dreams.
Each tear I've shed for you,
pierces like broken glass,
cutting gently into my flesh,
and taking a part of me away.

What hurts me is when you turn away,
say nothing and go on like I had never been here to begin with.
You don't know who I am,
or why I've talked to you.
You look at me and recognition sparks,
but is then lost within dark.
