"Don't tell me shes mad...Is she??" I stabbed the pencil's eraser into my palm. I stared at the computer screen, a perplexed look painted on my face. I couldn't figure it out. I had sent her a simple message, though I tend to send alot of messages to her. No, I was not attracted to her; she was more or less like the sister I never had. And now she has just logged off when I sent her a message asking her to call me. I shifted in my computer chair, squeezing my eyes shut for a second. *I'm I...A burden?* That damn nagging thought came into my head. Well, I was known to be slightly clingy; but I was working on it. Actually, I've gotten better. But still, I was insecure...Especially with the boy troubles I had freshman year, don't get me started!
As soon as I clicked onto another tag on the internet, a resounding poof made my head snap up sharp. But I calmed down when I realized what that could only mean.
"Nyuuu~! Whats going on??" My muse, a.k.a; Mini muse asked. She took a seat on my shoulder (keep in mind she's only 5 inches tall) and leaned forward.
"Nya! Blakie?" She hopped off my shoulder, approaching the keyboard. "Let me type something to her! Let me!!" She was about to until I grabbed her raccoon tail. She yiped in suprise, and looked up at me. "Hey!! Whatsa' big idea, nyouruo?!"
I sighed. "Blakie's not on. I think she's mad at me...Or tired of me." I placed her down on the computer table, continuing to look up Harvest Moon cheats.
"You always think that! With everyone!!" Mini muse said, and grabbed some paper and a copic marker. "I wanna draw a massive ninja dinosaur!" She totally strayed off the topic. I glanced over to her.
"...I hate it."
Mini muse looked up. "Nya? Hate what?"
I looked over at her and blinked. Then sighed. "The way I am. I hate it. I always have this nagging voice in my head; besides you, that is."
"I relent that!" She used the improper word for 'resent,' though I didn't have the heart to correct her. "But do continue!" She suddenly snapped her fingers, and took on therapist garb. I was now on a large couch, the kind you could lay on. She was now my size. "Now, tell meh your troubles, nyu." She took on a proffessional pose, and held a clipboard. She began scribbling furiously.
"Uhm...Well, I guess it started when I hit middle school. The feeling of...I don't know! Gah, this is stupid!" I got up from the couch, and looked over at what Mini (although not at the moment) muse was doing on the clipboard.
They were not notes. It was a ninja dinosaur, with an arnold shwarzenwhatever fish; battling it furiously. I sighed.
"Whatever, end of session!" Soon; the scenery dissapeared and Mini Muse went back to her normal size, minus therapist garb.
"Aw, come on! That was supposed to make you laugh!!" She whined, and climbed up on my head. Her ears flickered, and soon they were pressed against her head. "Ugh, your sister Hayley's home."
I looked up, and then shook my head. "Probably on a date with Keith again..." Mini muse fell right off my head in astonishment.
"Waitaminute!! Keith Esslinger?! The guy that complains about his love life but hits on other girls and had the nerve to hit on you and then ask you out and then fancies your sister instead?!?!" She gasped for breath, and I put my head in my hand.
"Yes, thats the one." I blushed, thinking of him. But instantly quelled it. Nope. I did not fancy him anymore. Not at all.
"Kinda reminds me of that Chris kid. Damn, he was such a-"
"SHUT UP, MINI MUSE." I said firmly, flicking her little head gently.
That was another mess up. I don't even want to go there.
"And then there was that Brendan guy who you went out with for like, a week! Hehe, can we say 'rebound-girl?'"
"You're not helping." I stared hard at the computer screen, waiting for someone; anyone to message me.
"Three guys, and they all failed. Oh wait, but Dan was the classic! Violent, possesive Dan!" It was then at this point where I muffled Mini Muse with a stale marshmallow I happened to find under my computer table. How useful!
After things calmed down a little, I continued to fiddle with the computer. Mini muse was laying on the table, playing with a bouncy ball.
"So what do you think junior year'll be like?" She asked, looking over at me. I let out a huff.
"I don't know. Don't care. I just want to pass." I typed furiously now, not even looking at the raccoony muse.
"Well, expect drama."
"What?"
"Nothing!" She flashed a grin, and then went back to tossing the ball in the air. "Just expect the usual high school drama llamas."
"...Thanks alot." I said sarcastically.

(note: Yes, all the people I have mentioned are true beings, and true happenings involving these beings. No, Mini muse is not real. She is my character I made up.)
