Kay, if you expect the unexpected, doesn't that make the unexpected expected? Then that means that you expect what you can't possibly expect because you don't know what to expect, thus leaving it unexpected. BUT if you don't expect what you SHOULD expect, that should mean that the expected is unexpected...right? Or is it still expected, but not acknowledged? So it's unacknowledged? Or just unexpected by you and expected by everyone else?
Okay, then say that somehow you DO expect the unexpected. Then it's indeed expected. But then, how the hell do you expect something that you can't possibly expect? Doesn't that make the unexpected expected, leaving the expression meaningless?

Overall conclusion: I have too much free time.
