Well, one of my best friends got married over the weekend and I couldn't be happier for her. She was absolutely gorgeous too! heart Anyway, it gave me time to think. A whole lot of introspection and reflection on some issues that have crossed my mind a few times over the past few months. With Jen now married it kinda closed the door for what remained of childhood and adolesence and gently yet forcefully placed me into a new age. I can't really pretend to be a teenager anymore but I now have to start facing the world as a full fledged woman. Scary thought actually. sweatdrop And yet I know that I have been waiting on the edge for this day to come like we all knew that it would. But I guess I'm ready for it. Entering into a new age of life means casting all that would drag you down away and just try to move forward. It almost feels like I'm taking a free fall and yet I'm not afraid of what could happen. I guess I'm just waiting for the wings to unfold; they'll come when they're ready. Until then I'll enjoy the free fall...
