when i came home yesterday
i found 2 of them had broken out
i feared for my books
and bought 8 traps
today the one from the kitchen wandered into my living/sleeping room too and got caught
when i arrived at home from work she was still alive
i lowered the trap her head was in and the thing was still turning her tail trying to get out
so i thought of my books
and of all the merciful kings and heroes in literature
and then i opened the window shade
after that the window
ad i opended the trap
from the 4th floor
if it was still alive
