I'd be an album that's been played before.
A cover of a song

Time ago.
And if life was an album,
I'd be the song that nobody's heard.
I'd be the song that makes no sense,
I'd be the lyrics that make you wince.

I don't sing the songs you wish I would sing.
I'm not a princess, not your pageant queen.

Trying to find a little symmetry
In this life that she has that's filled with strife.

There's a story behind the voice no one wants to hear.

Everybody's looking for a cover of a pop star,
Hiding reality of who they really are.
Just showing people what they wanna see,
Thinking that's who they wanna be.
But I'm not here for your ears.
I'm not here to wipe up your tears.
I'm just the wind that has to blow,
The wind that everyone feels but nobody knows.

Before you say I'm lazy,
Before you say I'm fat,
Before you call me crazy,
And all other insults like that.
Let me tell you, I'm just being me,
And giving my trapped heart a chance to beat.
This is the way I save myself.
This is the way I keep my health.
