What is it about them? Frequently do I see them featured in movies as the personal computers and laptops of characters, and are the computer of choice for many artists - many of the writers I know use Macs, and many of the online comics I read are done on Macs. Applegeeks and Mac Hall, for instance, are two prominent that come to mind.
I myself and typing this on a Dell laptop, and it's about four years old. I'm not happy with it. I am quite used to using it, and the OS on it (Windows XP Pro). I can make my word processor sit up and do tricks.
I guess what sparks this is the fact that a good pal of mine writes on a Mac, prefers them to anything. And he and I collaborated on a short skit for our upcoming show this evening, and it got me to wondering.
How much of a change would it be to convert, as it were? The iMac is so pretty, so slim, so freaking compact.
