Alone

I sit in my own little world
alone..... again
thinking of people who don’t exist
alone..... again
ever wondering if there is a way
get me out

I can’t take a bus or a train
I need out
I am the one who can help myself
I need out
the world keeps spinnin’ oblivious to all
get me out

I show the world a mask
totally opaque
nothing can touch me
totally opaque
how long can I keep up this masquerade
get me out

I see a little tiny glimmer
in the dark
snuffed out before it grows
in the dark
complete silence, total darkness
get me out

I hear the noise of another
don’t leave me
the sound recedes, leaving nothing
don’t leave me
my voice breaks the dark silence
get me out

Overboard:

sinking, sinking
struggling for every breath
going under
fighting to keep my head above
treading water to stay alive
finally i give in
and drift away



Never did finish this one
she smiles, but it never quite reaches her eyes
and at night, she lays, she prays and she cries
please god, take away the pleasure, if it means the end of the pain
take away the sunshine, if it means the end of the rain
bring on the darkness, bring on the night
if it means the end of the pain, bring the end of the light
