Next to their feet shells explode
The trenches they’re in
Just happen to implode
The war may be won
But their friends are all gone
FOR JUSTICE
They hear the cries
They’re in pain
Then the dirt
Falls like rain
It’s too late
To halt their fate
But it was done
FOR JUSTICE
When fire engulfs the hospice
When smoke covers the fallen
Some people’s skin feels like ice
And when it’s done, what happens then
We do not kend
But it’s
FOR JUSTICE
These brave men work day and night
And they will never give up the fight
Even if we don’t know who they are
To others their death may leave a scar
But they know why it’s done
FOR JUSTICE
They’re the envoy of peace
Think what they do
U.S. military
We respect you
And your struggle
FOR JUSTICE
