Dead and Gone
"No, Kagome. Please. You can't die on me, now. I love you too much.
I'd die before you left me on this Earth alone. Please say that you'll be
alright, please don't leave me. Not now, not ever. Please don't die
now!"
"I'm... sorry," and right in his arms, layed a dead Kagome.
He couldn't believe it. She was dead, gone from this earth, and never
coming back.
He left the empty hut and went to the God's Tree and sat at the base of
it. He covered his face with his hands and cried like he never cried
before. She was gone and there was nothing he could do about it.
Flashback
Naraku was losing. Kohaku's jewel shard was taken from his back, so
Naraku could try to stand a chance. Kagara and Kanna had died and Naraku
was about to join them. The poison insects had disappeared half-way
during the battle. Sango, Kirara, Miroku, and Shippo had a few minor
injuries. Only Inuyasha and Kagome had one or two scrapes, and with one Wind
Scar, Naraku was defeated. Before Naraku died, he poisoned Kagome with
his gas, saying,"If I can't live, neither can you, miko!"
End Flashback and Later That Evening
"Inuyasha, snap out of it!" cried the little kitsune.
"Hmm. What?"
"C'mon, Inuyasha! You used to love ramen!"
"I guess I'm just not hungry."
Everyone just stared. "You, not hungry for ramen! I thought I'd never
see the day."
"Look, I'm going to her grave, O.K?" he said, hoping no one would
follow him.

He was still there, wishing he could hear her heartbeats. It was dark
out, so he could barely see through his hanyou eyes. That's when he
thought of something.
"I can join her, right here, right now. No, I'm not that much of an
idiot, but I can't go on without her. That's it. I need to and I'm going
to!"
He wrote on the ground, before lifting his sword, "I love her more than
my life."
When they found him next morning with the sword in his heart, they
cried and buried him right next to her grave. So now they're even closer
they've ever been. And on his grave they wrote, "Here lies Inuyasha. A
Hanyou who rejoined is beloved miko, Kagome."
~No burns. All burns will be on Naraku and Kikio~
