Sitting with my back against the cold, stone wall, I wept. This pain within my soul burned like a thousand knives. Was there no relief for the pain I feel in my heart? Why do I feel broken?
Footsteps sounded faint. I looked up. Through the mist was a figure with his hands inside his coat pockets. I stared at the figure, my eye sight blurry from forming tears.
"Myko..." Called the figure. I ignored it. "Myko.." It called again. This time, I was aware that the figure was standing in front of me.
I looked up into the dark eyes of a young man, "Myko...why do you cry?"
My voice croaked up tears, "Leave me alone!"
A hand held firmly onto my chin and lifted it up so I would look into the figure's eyes. "Why do you weep?" He asked again.
I didn't say anything. I jumped to my feet and lunged into the strangers arms. I felt safe within his arms, even if I didn't know him.
His arms wrapped around my shivvering body and held me. The tears stopped as I realized that this figure was my beloved father...
