Something Really Cool that I wanted to share with you.
All around the world, o.k., the country, alright, I admit, it's only in our city, Double Bassists will come together to play in the D.B.E. (Double Bass Ensemble) We'll be playing Contredanse, a happy dance tune, Toccatina, "The Long Song" As the 8th graders called it, and Mid Evil Times, A demented piece written by our own Leyla Cohen. (Me!) Bassists from grades 5-12th grade will learn, with their teachers and on their own, the pieces.
Then it just gives the info on when and where. But It's gonna be freaking awesome. Especially because my song is going to be played there! ROCK ON! Well, I'll see you later!
