Went fishing with my dad yesterday.
We had fun... mostly.
Next time he wants to go down river when there's a thunder storm
coming in, I think I'll just stay at the park and lock myself in the truck. D:
Being caught in the middle of a thunder storm, in a little canoe... not fun.
Having to tie the boat and get off onto a metal dock in the middle of a thunderstorm,
even crappier.
AND doing all of this while my dad is drunk... ugh.
He didn't seem to realize that while he wanted to go out and ride the boat around,
EVERYONE ELSE was in a hurry to get their boats out of the water.
I tried to talk him out of it, but you can imagine how well that worked.
In the end I had two choices:
go with him, or stay alone in this trashy looking park that scares me.
If my dad didn't leave his cell phone at home, I would have picked the park.

Before all of this it wasn't so bad.
We went up river, and went fishing.
Dad caught seven fish... I almost caught one.
His fault for distracting me while it took my bait. D:
We saw a HUGE alligator, which was both cool and kind of scary.
Sadly, I got a really bad sunburn,
even though I put on a ton of sunblock that morning. D:
