My weekend got off to a great start. Friday night after work was playing lan games, Saturday night was shooting pool from 6pm to 3am in the morning. I managed to learn spin shots kinda. It worked nicely, and very horrably. I am of the opinion that spin shots are the double edged sword of pool playing.
Anyway Sunday was to be the day of coolness, despite going to bed so late I woke up at around 2 or 3 pm, and it was time to get ready for the OFFSPRING CONCERT!!!!! blaugh xd whee . It was a riot of fun.
Before the supporting bands came on stage, the camera men where showing crowd shots, wich kept the mob entertained, especially when the girls lifted thier tops etc etc.
The supporting bands where local SA bands, they where ok but when offspring came on it was like WHAAA!! I expected them to play all the new songs, to promote thier new album. But they didn't, they played thier best songs from Smash and Americana. The crowd went absolutely wild, myself included. Anyway my voice as a result is now rather hoarse.
It was definatly worth the R290 (+- US$44) for golden circle tickets.
Otherwise today I had the day off, thank god. And so I went on the hunt for a guitar, Im wondering if I should get a steel string guitar to start on. Although it would be very hard to play, the harder I make it for myself the better I will become.
