It's cold
It's cruel
It's hard to deal with.
It happens when a heart is broken,
Or when a life is taken.
It's in everyday life...
You can't escape it...
It's an emotion
That is inside all of us..
We feel it at least once,
Once in our lifetime.
Sadness can bring pain;
It can cause it as well.
Sadness can be contagious
To people who have too much of it around them...
Sadness...
It's cold,
Painful,
Cruel,
But always happens in a lifetime.
