Today was...weird.

First of all, my aunt called me OCD. Like, actually. I was kind of suprised. I would always joke around about it but is it possible I actually am? I'm going to look into this in the future.

So I went shopping with her today to get some jeans and summer wear. I kept trying things on and the clothes pile grew larger. I wasn't really monitoring how much stuff I had by the time I was done. My parents had agreed to pay her back the amount I'd spent. When the cashier rang it all up I was practically speechless.

Grand total: $187. 26

At first when I heard the value I thought she said 147 dollars. Upon closer inspection I was about 40 bucks off. I spent the whole time in Costco worrying about it. (We went afterwards) I knew my 'rents were going to call tonight and I decided to call them ahead of time to spill the beans. I already knew in my mind i'd have to pay for at least some of it. That's when I asked to borrow my Aunt's phone. And that's when she called me OCD.

I forgot about the time difference. Cali is 2 hours earlier then Texas. So of course, I couldn't reach either of them since when I tried to call it was about 2 o'clock pm their time and Dad was out golfing and Mom was working.

Finally I got through to my Mom at work who was glad to talk to me. Turns out I wasn't bothering her. So I explained my situation and backed it up with my willingness to help pay. I dodged saying the grand total and instead explained about all the savings and sales I took advantage of. But she said to tell her the total and promised she wouldn't yell.

So I did.

Turns out she wasn't mad at all. She explained that for that many items it made sense that I payed what I did. She was just worried that I spent 50 bucks on one pair of jeans, which I didn't anyways. I don't even have to pay for any of it which is great too. I didn't really want to cut into my Ouran dvd fund. So once again, it looks like all my worrying was for nothing. Now I just have to get by the grades coming in the mail and then I can finally relax.

Oh btw, tomorrow i'm heading out on a road trip to Arkansas. So I probably won't be online for 2-3 days unless I get my hands on a computer in a motel or something.
