My Saturday Night---yes I realize I am late journaling about it.
We showed up to meet my friend and her friends, thinking only to stay about an hour. Well when I got there I found my friend and then her other friends all left her and dissed her. it was very uncool. So we stay at that bar for a bit but I can only handle the hip hop and hip hop hoes for so long. So we headed out to my fav lounge only to find there was a 10$ cover....(i'm very tight with my money) to see some djs called the LA Riots... and I'm happy because I just found them on Project Playlist! so I guess I didn't pay to see nobody after all. Anyway I had a blast. Surrounded by the Trendy People or the artists. Surrounded by the boys that look like girls and girls who look like boys. Everyone had the same hair cut. And once again I felt very out of place. I have nothing against the skinny jeans, short black hair and chucks or flats style....Except I can not pull it off. I'm not super thin and I'm not flat chested, in short I guess I uh, look like a girl. And there I was in the middle of it all wearing heels and pink tube top!
Yup I felt out of place, but happy to be surrounded by the "cool kids". But then I realized something...I danced better than most of them (while I was in heels) and we hung out til we got kicked out at 2:30 am. So even though I don't look like a cool kid. I dance like one and I party like one LOL blaugh 3nodding
